• I do not design erotica or suggestive covers.
• I reserve the right to decline to design a cover for any particular book.
• The three free revisions include fixing typos/mistakes, and refer to revisions required after the files have already been finalised and paid for (e.g., a few months later you need something updated). In other words, while we’re initially working on getting your cover perfect, there’s no limit to how many changes we can make—within reason, of course. Three revisions are included in the package price. Further revisions are charged at an additional per-hour rate.

• Payment will be made in two deposits: 50% at the beginning and 50% at completion of work. Orders may be cancelled once they are in progress, but the initial 50% deposit is nonrefundable.
• Please contact me if you require a faster turnaround time than quoted above. While I’ll try to accommodate your request if possible, I can’t guarantee accommodation. A rush fee will apply.
• I will store the final source file in my archives for two years, during which time I can be contacted to request further revisions. After this amount of time, I cannot guarantee the possibility of revisions as I may delete the files to create storage space.

You reach out to me through the order form and tell me a few basic details about your book. I’ll get back to you within 5 business days to confirm your order with next steps.

You pay a 50% deposit to reserve your spot and fill out a second, much more detailed form. This is called the design brief. You’ll tell me more about your target audience, comparative titles, book covers you love, your world and characters, and your vision for your cover. The more detail you give me here, the better I can bring your vision to life from day one.

I start designing! Within 14 days of your start date (usually the first day of the month you book), you can expect to see 1-3 initial concepts for your cover. These are usually somewhat rough since I won’t spend too much time on any of them until I know which you like best.

You select one of the concepts or tell me what’s not working and why. Since 2016, I’ve had fewer than five instances where none of the initial concepts worked! This is because I ask for so much information on the design brief–I get a really clear idea of what you’re looking for. But if none of them are quite right, you give me concrete feedback on what’s not working, and we start over again!

We perfect one of the concepts. You give me specific feedback on anything you’d like to see changed or added, and over the next 2-4 weeks we perfect the cover. If you don’t request any changes, I add the finishing touches to the rough concept.

I create any additional cover versions or graphics you ordered. Once the cover is complete, I can modify it to create audiobook covers, dust jackets, bookmarks, cover reveal graphics, postcards…

You pay the 50% balance while I prep your final files.

I send you the print-ready files all ready for upload!
